Hipstamatic

I have a confession to make... I am currently mildly obsessed with the IPhone app Hipstamatic. Seriously, this thing is amazing. While totally unpredictible and totally unreliable for major moments, I have had so much fun with this "camera". Which lead me to wonder, what is the story behind this? Well, turns out there is a bit of history here:

   Bring people a camera that cost less than the film. Bruce had a Russian plastic camera that our father gave him as a Christmas gift in 1972. The camera had since broke and was no longer being made or sold, at least anywhere he could find it. So Bruce and Winston came up with a plan to recreate something similar. Winston had fallen in love with his Kodak Instamatic and that was the start of the Hipstamatic.

Im Back!!

A beautiful mess. This is how I would describe my life recently. Joy, love, work, art, travel, photography, gardening, CrossFit, friends; it seems my life is a beautiful mess of all the above and more. I cant believe November is almost here and I really cant believe it has been months since I have blogged last!  Wow. So much to do, get done, and enjoy in so little time.  Everything has been busy, busy, busy, go, go, go over the past few months and has been a constant learning process of balance between managing lots of work and living and enjoying life. This past year has been one of growth, strength, awareness, challenge, and looking at where I am today I couldn’t be happier. Now that I have this balancing act under control I am so excited to get back to blogging! I have so missed this blog and am looking forward to bringing inspiration back into my life as well continue to introduce you to fun finds, projects, and tidbits for your own life.
