Gosh, I haven't blogged in what feels like forever! A few exciting life updates that have been keeping me quite busy recently...

I have also just joined up with an amazing group of women here in the Charlottesville area that have a wonderful little group called the Cville Craft Attack. They have had a few craft shows in the past and I will be joining in on the "Spring Craftacular" that will be taking place May 1 at OpenSpace from 10-5. Mark your calendars, this is going to be a great event and would love for you to stop by and say hi!

Lots of new frames to be made for this event; I have been collecting a wide array of unique and beautiful materials and cant wait to start creating.

In other news... garden season is just around the corner and I have a pretty big project planned for my garden this year. I have been busy starting seeds and working on building raised beds around the house... I will post pics as I get a little further in this project.

wow

I realized that I started this blog to talk about and help promote the frames I make and in looking back on most all of my blog posts I realize that I have posted anything but! I never thought I would get sucked into this world of blogs, I tend to move from one project to the next without a blink so to stop and think through or talk about an inspiration or share a current project is kind of cool. With that said there are many many projects I have going on or have done that I have not taken the time to write about, but I am trying to get better at that. It is easier to blog about other peoples project than my own!

First project on the list is back to making frames... I made and sold hundreds of frames last year and I just dropped of my last few to Novel. With spring just around the corner I will be doing some home shows as well as possibly some craft shows this season. If you are interested in hosting a home show be in touch, in the past Erin Mcdermott and I have done home shows together and had a blast so let us know if you would like more info!

Thanks so much to all of you who came out tonight for the home show! We had an AMAZING turn out and it was such a fun night. Here are a few pictures of the studio all set up with our stuff... including jewelry by Erin Mcdermott, handbags by Dickie Morris, tshirts by Kate Barton, and lots of goodies from Cary Olivia including polaroid transfer prints, coasters, and cards just to name a few.

If you missed tonight a few of us will be at the Mistletoe Market on Sunday 10-7 at the Omni and would love to see you there!
